===== Installation =====

Install the plugin using the [[plugin:plugin|Plugin Manager]] and the download URL above, which points to latest version of the plugin. Refer to [[:Plugins]] on how to install plugins manually.

===== Usage =====

On admin page in section **Additional plugins** will appeare item **Abbreviations**.\\
There you can edit content of //**conf/acronym.local.conf**//. Abbreviation popups generated by dokuwiki. [[:abbreviations|Read more]].

**Why not only my abbreviations shown?**\\
Abbreviation popups are made by Dokuwiki itself. It uses abbrevaions listed in file //**conf/acronym.conf**// and //**conf/acronym.local.conf**//. This plugin provides editor for second one. File //**conf/acronym.conf**// contain default abbreviations bundeled in your dokuwiki. If you don't want them, you could delete content of //**conf/acronym.conf**// or even whole file.
