Search and install the plugin using the Extension Manager. Refer to :Plugins on how to install plugins manually.
Syntax and Usage
After installation you'll find a new button at the end of your regular toolbar. Use them to add "Insert Code" to your DokuWiki markup.
Discussion
So nobody complains anything, I guess everything works fine with this plugin :o)

> It works fine for me. I just installed it via the "extension manager", by searching for "codebutton" and clicking the install button. --- Heiko //2015-08-27 23:09//
Wish
The tag file is not ok :) I was expecting that this would insert code tag instead and in the interface i provide the language i need. Is it possible to improove?
OK - I found this one plugin:codebutton2
> The tag is pretty much the same as , but you could use it to show that you quoted a file. There is no disadvantage using instead of . --- Heiko //2015-08-27 23:13//
Not Installing
This extension will not install via the "extension manager". The search and install fails and the manual install produces this error and corrupts the system:
Plugin name 'dw_codebutton' is not a valid plugin name, only the characters a-z and 0-9 are allowed. Maybe the plugin has been installed in the wrong directory?
The only way to install is to download the file, rename to codebutton and manually install. Works fine. --- liveincan //2019-08-04 04:00//
