This is a very simple plugin to add the HTML Meta tag to verify your wiki in the Google Search Console. It's especially useful in a farm setup where it is more difficult to have different verification codes for the different animals.

===== Installation =====

Install the plugin using the [[plugin:plugin|Plugin Manager]] and the download URL above, which points to latest version of the plugin. Refer to [[:Plugins]] on how to install plugins manually.

===== Usage =====

Go to https://search.google.com/search-console and create a new property. Specify the URL to your wiki. In the verification dialog go to "Other verification methods" and pick "HTML tag".

Copy the ''content'' value from the shown tag (should be a long string of letters, dashes and numbers. No quotes!). Open your Wiki's configuration manager and paste the code in the Plugin's configuration.

Click "Verify" in the Search Console.
