===== Installation =====

Install the plugin using the [[plugin:plugin|Plugin Manager]] and the download URL above, which points to latest version of the plugin. Refer to [[:Plugins]] on how to install plugins manually.

===== Usage =====

The plugin analyzes URLs pasted into the DokuWiki editor and transforms them on-the-fly into local links, or [[interwiki]] links if they match any of the [[interwiki#configuring_interwiki_shortcuts|configured interwiki shortcuts]].


For example the pasted URL ''https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/InterWiki'' will be transformed into <code>[[wp>InterWiki]]</code>

If some text is selected while pasting, it will become the link title.

Currently only URLs are supported. Regular text will be pasted as-is.
