Since the Igor 2022 release.

The LogViewer can be reached from the [[:admin window]] "{{https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dokuwiki/dokuwiki/master/lib/plugins/logviewer/admin.svg?14}} View Logs" and allows to view the contents of the log files.

The tab at the top allows you to switch between the different logging facilities, a date input lets you pick the day to display, and a filter field lets you do a simple string match based reduction of the viewed entries.

Use the [[config:dontlog]] configuration setting to disable/enable specific logging. The [[config:logretain]] setting determines how long these logs are kept.

If the LogViewer cannot be reached, you can find the log files in your file system on ''[wiki_folder]/data/log/error/<date>.log''.
