This is almost the same with the built-in index function, except that it is a syntax plugin and you can exclude certain top-level namespaces. It can be used in sidebar for navigation.

The plugin is quite simple, if you are looking for something more powerful, please have a look at [[plugin:indexmenu|indexmenu]], [[plugin:indexmenu2|indexmenu2]], etc.

===== Download and Installation =====

Search and install the plugin using the [[plugin:extension|Extension Manager]]. Refer to [[:Plugins]] on how to install plugins manually.

===== Syntax and Usage =====

  <simpleindex n1,ns2,ns3>

//ns1,ns2,ns3// are the namespaces to exclude from indexing. Only top-level namespaces are supported.

It's better to add ''%%~~NOCACHE~~%%'' in page.
