===== Description =====

Allows to override settings, template, base namespace, default group for new users and startpage per subdomain. Vhosts can be configured in the Admin Interface.

===== Installation =====

Search and install the plugin using the [[plugin:extension|Extension Manager]]. Refer to [[:Plugins]] on how to install plugins manually.

===== Examples / Usage =====

The plugin can be configured in the Admin Section at **Manage Vhosts (SubConfHelper)**.

To change the settings for a subdomain add a new entry with the first part of your domain. This creates a new config file in your dokuwiki config directory. For domain matching first the full domain is used. Then parts are stripped from the right.
