The Apricot template is a modification of the great [[template:starter|Starter template]] written by Anika Henke to port the elegant [[https://wordpress.org/themes/apricot/|Apricot theme]] by [[https://ardamis.com/2007/06/03/apricot/|Ardamis]] to DokuWiki.

==== Short Open Tags ====

This template uses short open tags which won't be interpreted on servers which don't have them enabled. E.g. my title currently reads ''%%wiki:dokuwiki [<?= strip_tags($conf['title']) ?>]%%'' in the browser. And there are lots of other places where they are used. Although it doesn't break anything immediately visible, it breaks semantics, accessibility and SEO aspects of a wiki. --- [[user>ach|Anika Henke]] //2014-08-14 23:18//
