===== Installation =====

Search and install the plugin using the [[plugin:extension|Extension Manager]]. Refer to [[:Plugins]] on how to install plugins manually.

===== Initial setup =====

Unfortunately, the initial setup is a bit tricky. Follow the steps below:

  - Log into [[https://vimeo.com]]
  - Go to https://developer.vimeo.com/apps/new and register a new app
    * click the checkbox for ''Web server'' at the "platform(s)" question
  - got to your new application's detail page and click the "Authentication" tab on the top
  - Now generate a new access token and enter it into the plugin's configuration in your DokuWiki
  - Congratulation, you completed the setup! 👍
