This is a potentially dangerous plugin that should only be used by experienced users and only when needed. Don't keep it installed when you no longer need it.

Install the plugin using the Plugin Manager and the download URL above, which points to latest version of the plugin. Refer to Plugins on how to install plugins manually.

This plugin adds “Shell Access” option to the admin menu. Selecting it gives you a terminal-like interface to execute arbitrary commands on the wiki server.

This is mostly useful to check and fix file permissions. Executed commands will run with the same permissions (and user/group) as the rest of the wiki - useful when there are files you can't access with your FTP user.

Please keep in mind that this is not a real interactive shell. It is a web page that sends commands to the server and displays the output. It is not possible to run interactive programs like vi or top.
