Hi, I run a DokuWiki about the game “The Settlers - Rise of an Empire”/ “Die Siedler - Aufstieg eines Königreichs”, especially for the scripting language Lua. I’ve installed some existing plugins as well as some of my own. Main focus is set to usability, mainly by an easy to use menu-plugin which allows a very easy way of sorting pages at any time.

With aid of DokuWiki kmlwiki.de is more than a traditional placemark collection. In kmlwiki.de we collect Points of Interest (POIs) and present them with the Google Earth Browser Plugin.

Compared to conventional placemark collections, we put emphasis on an adequate description of the POIs and on interlinking them as far as possible.

Some nice example pages which demonstrate the potential of DokuWiki in combination with Google Earth are Magic Kingdom, München, Großglockner, and friv.

The filmtanzprojekt.de is a school project in Cologne.

An einem Kölner Gymnasium fand unter der Leitung professioneller Tänzer und Filmemacher ein FilmTanzProjekt statt. Es wurde eine Choreografie einstudiert und der Prozess von einem Filmteam begleitet. Über das parallel gewachsene Wiki konnten die Teilnehmer sich organisatorisch und inhaltlich austauschen und außerdem das Projekt (öffentlichen) dokumentieren.

The HarzOptics OptikWiki is the first German dictionary for optical technology and photonics research. DokuWiki is used to enable a small villages web site http://www.eckelsheim.de (German language). The collaborative principle which has been basis for a number of community projects is now also realized in the web site. And only contents counts - no more design options for the contributors! DokuWiki was the choice after comparing it with a range of other CMS and Wikis. Installation and configuration was just fun (except for an outside template contribution). Many thanks to the DokuWiki team.

On INJELEA WikiLife (German) I use DokuWiki for a Wiki for myself and friends. Why not use a wiki to organize your life? So I setup DokuWiki because it’s easy and mighty as well. Notes, structures, links … all about my life. But only some pages are visible vor “ALL”. I enjoy DokuWiki a lot.

Ship-photo.de ist die Neuauflage mehrerer Seiten mit Schiffsdaten und -fotos. Nach langen hin und her, html-gecodeten Seiten, Wysiwig-Editor-Homepages und PHP/MySQL-basierten CMS haben wir endlich(!) unser Zuhause bei DokuWiki gefunden. Endlich haben wir ein System gefunden, das unseren Vorlieben entspricht. So werden dort nun alle Typen von Schiffen präsentiert. Der Schwerpunkt liegt langfristig bei Kreuzfahrtschiffen und Carcarriern. Aber da wir Foto-Freaks sind, wird die Auswahl sehr groß.
